VEREENIGING. – A man had to be rushed to Emfuleni Mediclic after  he lost control of the vehicle, driving off a bridge and landing in the middle of the the cross road.

The incident happened in the early hours of the morning on the corners of General Smuts and Springbok Road in Vereeniging,

ER24 Spokeperson Pieter Rossouw says, “When ER24 paramedics arrived on scene they found a heavily damaged vehicle in the middle of the road. They also found that the driver of the vehicle was entrapped in the wreck.”

Rossouw adds that the paramedics, along with the fire and rescue services were able to  extricate the man safely. “He was treated and transported by ER24 paramedics to Mediclinic Emfuleni for further treatment. Authorities were on the scene to investigate the matter further.”
