“ER24 paramedics, along with another service, arrived on the scene and found one light motor vehicle in the middle of the road while the other was on the side of the road. The woman was found walking around the scene while the man was found lying next to his vehicle on the side of the road.”

Meiring adds that  paramedics assessed the two patients and found that the woman had sustained minor injuries while the man had sustained serious injuries.Both patients were treated  and  paramedics provided the man with advanced life support interventions. Once treated, the patients were transported to Mediclinic Vereeniging for further treatment.

It is believed that one vehicle had apparently swerved in front of the other, causing the collision as well as causing one of the vehicles to roll multiple times.Local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
