Police officer who shot his wife in court tomorrow

VEREENIGING. – A court hearing against Vaal Triangle Flying Squad police officer Edward Kennedy Fox was suppose to commence today in the High Court of Vereeniging. Fox is being trialled for the alleged murder of his wife.

Fox’s attorney asked for the matter to be postponed as he cannot afford the legal fees and should rather make use of the legal aid the state is willing to give him.

Fox was arrested 17 months after the death of his wife Ché Rudelle Fox. Initially he told police that intruders shot Ché, but after intense investigation, he was arrested on April 20.

Fox now faces face a charge of murder. The case has been postponed until tomorrow at 09:00.

Ché’s family and friends are still devastated by her death and feel that justice should prevail. They are wearing T-shirts with a photo of Ché printed together with the words: Your life mattered 1987-2014.
