SHARPEVILLE.- Police and the Direro family urges to the community to help them find a missing person, Sello Direro, who was last seen on May 28 in Vereeniging.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster his aunt, Moroesi Masike said they were on the way from Kopanong Hospital for the treatment when Direro went missing at a Caltex Garage in Vereeniging.
Masike told Sedibeng Ster that Direro is not mentally stable and that they are worried that something terrible might happen to him. Masike said that some people have claimed to have seen Direro at theNelson Mandela Bridge in Braamfontein, Johannesburg but when she went there with police they couldn’t find him. “We were from Kopanong Hospital to take his treatment because he is sick mentally and on the way we stopped by the garage and he asked to go to the toilet and I waited for him outside the shop and the next thing he was gone. I went to Vereeniging Police Station to open a missing person case. People also told me they saw him at the Vereeniging taxi rank but when I went there I couldn’t find him,” she told Sedibeng Ster. Direro was wearing a green jersey, a leather jacket and a red track-suit when he went missing, he is from Sharpeville.
