MEYERTON. – ER24 reports that a man has been killed  following a single bakkie rollover. The incident happened on the R59 on Johan le Roux road in Meyerton last night.

ER24 paramedics arrived shortly before 18H00 to find the bakkie lying on its side. Upon further assessment, they found a passenger still entrapped.

The man had to be freed by Midvaal Fire using the jaws of life. Unfortunately, the man had sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene by paramedics.

Another man was found walking around at the scene. Paramedics assessed him and found that he had sustained minor injuries. Paramedicstreated and transported the man to hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident is not known.
