Residents ‘visit’ ELM offices in electricity protest

VANDERBIJLPARK.  – The residents of Phase 3, Tshepong in Sebokeng marched to the office of Emfuleni Local Municipality on Wednesday, 2 June.

They allege that they have been without electricity for the past four years. The residents who were bused in arrived at the offices at around 09.00.They said that they have lost hope on Bhekie Ntsele, ELM MMC for Infrastructure.

“He keeps on telling us lies they said. Ntsele always says very soon the crisis will be given attention,” they said.

At the time Sedibeng Ster arrived an official was busy drafting a letter of promise for the residents.
