De Deur. – Following the incident, members of the community have expressed their anger, saying that they fear for the safety of kids attending the school.

In March this year Sedibeng Ster reported that 9-year-old Teboho Sefolo, a learner from Michael Rua Primary School was shot and killed in a drive by shooting next to De Deur Primary School.  Sefolo was killed when a bus he was travelling in was hit by bullets during the shooting.

Police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mavela Masondo says, “A statement regarding the incident will be released as soon as all the information has been gathered.”
