FREE STATE.- ER24 and another service arrived on the scene to find the three vehicles in the middle of the busy road. A man in his 50s was walking around while a man in his 60s was lying a short distance away.

Medics assessed the men and found that the man in his 50s was in a serious condition while the man in his 40s was in a critical condition. The men were treated and provided with advanced life support before being transported to nearby hospitals for urgent care. It is understood that one car was towing the other when they lost control, swerving in front of the truck.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
