BOIPATONG.- The Senior Director of The Saints Academy Bongane “Bongs” Radebe received a red carpet from the parents of the aftercare learners at a mother of awards ceremony was hosted at the academy school in Boipatong recently.

The function saw educators from various primaries and high schools gracing the occasion.

Radebe said:  “What encouraged me is that these learners have the love for education. They always show up and bring all their effort because we dont have time for lazzy learners. This is the reason for aftercare education we provide where we check their books and engage with them to make sure they are not left behind in their studies.

Refilwe Moloi, a forth year LLB student at Wits University told the learners, especially grade 9 to 12s, that the time for games is over adding that Universities need hard workers. She thanked the Saints Academy for introducing the school in  the township.

“We have never thought that area like this will have people like Bongi who always want to better the lives of the township children right at their door steps.”
