Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Bennette said the reward come after disappointment from South African Police Services on the case.
“I issued out a reward because as the family we feel that police have failed us. We haven’t been given feedback on the matter and no police officer has come to our home pertaining the case. Instead, I am the only one going up and down at the police station demanding update,” he said.
Bennette said their prayers are not answered and all efforts made don’t materialize.
“We’ve tried all possible avenues in finding my sister. We have been to more than 10 prophets to consult, we pray every night for her safe return and still nothing happens. Our only hope will be finding private assistance from specialized people or experts to help us deal with the matter and finding my sister,” he said.
Bennette said the family hope that Nomvula is still alive and pray for her safe return.
“Our only hope as the family is to see her coming back. Our mother is very broken, she can’t cope because of her disappearance. We have tried everything in finding her and we don’t win. We hoping this reward, will at least help in putting the pieces together to find her,” he said.
“I’ve been a public figure in Mzansi for many years and to think that one of my fans might have been the one who kidnaped my sister is heartbreaking,” he concluded.
