Law enforcement unites in Easter celebration

Dozens of Sedibeng law enforcers came together for a fellowship service amid Easter weekend.

EVATON. – Law enforcement officers from various agencies gathered together with the Sedibeng community to celebrate Easter on Wednesday, March 27.

Led by the esteemed Major General Lemba and Brigadier Sibongile Ndaba, the event held significant meaning as participants embarked on a symbolic prayer walk from Adams Road Skhosana stop sign to the Thusong Hall, mirroring Jesus’s journey to Golgotha where he was crucified.

The day’s festivities commenced with a profound sense of reverence as attendees convened at the church for a moving service.

Here, the seven words of the cross were preached, guiding reflections on the profound sacrifices made for humanity.

As prayers resonated through the hall, they encompassed not only the safety and well-being of SAPS members and law enforcement agencies but also extended to the broader community they serve.

Major General Lemba expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who contributed to the day’s events.

She extended appreciation to the religious leaders whose words provided solace and inspiration, underscoring the importance of faith in navigating the challenges faced by those in law enforcement.
