Vaal Mall hosts an All-white rooftop festival launch

Are you ready for the Vaal Mall All-white rooftop party?

VANDERBIJLPARK – With just days before the much-anticipated premier rooftop all-white party set to be hosted by Vaal Mall on November 16, the organisers of this ‘woolies’ festival held a launch night recently.

According to the brains behind the concept, the launch aims to tease those in attendance on what and who to expect at the show.

At the launch, different disc jockeys who are on the lineup for the second installment of the event, together with clients and attendees filled Ster-kinekor Cinema at the complex.

In attendance were some of Vaal’s finest A-listers such as Max Da DJ, businessman, and event organiser Mpumelelo Mafunda, event organiser Thabiso Mota, and social media influencer, Connie Masilo, among many others.

Dressed in their all-black attire, all the guests looked stunning and matched the launch’s theme.

Speaking to Ster South on the sidelines of the launch, Arts Connected Director and Founder, Fanele Tshabalala explained the reason for the night.

“We just wanted to show people what the concert is about and what they can anticipate on the day. The logistics from the client perspective,” he said.

“It’s the second time we have had this festival and it was a mix of artists, however this year we are focusing on making it more youthful as we included young artists such as Young Stunner, amapiano king – Kabza the Small, Focalistic, and Durban Gogo among many others,” he said.

Touching on the turnout of the people who attended the launch, Tshabalala said “I’m happy with the turnout because people really came out in their numbers to support the launch. We don’t see much of these happening before major events, which makes us believe that people are interested in this event.”

Attendee Xolani Bhele said “We came out to see what the organisers have in store for us. So far, one can believe that fun will be had. The line-up is super interesting, and I can’t wait to be part of the experience.”
