Laerskool Drie Riviere supports Pink Bin campaign

Laerskool Drie Riviere has become the first school to support Wide Horizon Hospice’s Pink Bin initiative.

Laerskool Drie Riviere has, in an act of kindness, joined the Wide Horizon Hospice’s Pink Bin campaign. This is a collection drive collecting preloved clothing and non-perishable food items to support patients.
The donated clothing will be sold through the Charity Shop, with proceeds going directly towards the care of patients in the hospice.

The Principal of Laerskool Drie Riviere, Marlize Boshoff, has also encouraged other schools in the area to join hands with the hospice, helping to spread this initiative of love and support even further across the community.

“Laerskool Drie Riviere is the very first school to stand behind the Pink Bin initiative, and it’s a moment we will always remember,” says the CEO, Tersia Burger.

Burger extended her heartfelt thanks to the school and to Mrs Boshoff for her kindness and generous support.

“To every business, school, and local entity in the Vaal Triangle – we invite you to kindly join this journey with us. Together, we can continue caring for our patients and building a community rooted in compassion.

Thank you, Mrs Boshoff and Laerskool Drie Riviere, for being the first to say yes. Today marked the beginning of a beautiful new chapter for Wide Horizon Hospice.”
