Tau Dia Rora’s new branch committed to social development
The significance of Tau Dia Rora lies not only in its advocacy but also in its active engagement with community issues.
SEBOKENG.- The impending launch of the Tau Dia Rora Zone 7 Branch, under the leadership of Hlekane ‘Ntate Daks’ Maluleke, marks a significant milestone in community development initiatives aimed at uplifting local residents.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Tau Dia Rora spokesperson, Muntu ‘Ntate Stone’ Kama said that the new branch not only seeks to enhance its presence within the community but also embodies a commitment to social responsibility.
A notable pre-launch activity was the initiative to donate school shoes to Setlabotjha Primary School in Eatonside on Tuesday.
Kama said that education is often heralded as a cornerstone for personal and societal advancement, however, many children face barriers that hinder their access to quality education.

“One such barrier is inadequate footwear, which can impede a child’s ability to attend school regularly and participate fully in educational activities. By partnering with Diphethogo Community Development for this initiative, Tau Dia Rora demonstrates an understanding of these challenges and takes tangible steps towards alleviating them said,” Kama.
Since the re-establishment of Tau Dia Rora in 2021, the organization has emerged as a beacon of hope for communities grappling with socio-economic challenges. Founded by Ntate Mollo, Tau Dia Rora has taken on the critical role of amplifying the voices of marginalized individuals while providing strength to those who feel powerless.

“The organisation embodies a commitment to social justice, advocating for equitable opportunities and resources for all community members. The significance of Tau Dia Rora lies not only in its advocacy but also in its active engagement with community issues. The organisation’s grassroots approach empowers individuals to participate actively in shaping their own destinies and fosters a sense of collective responsibility among community members said,” Kama ended.
