High-density operation yields positive results in De Deur

A total 14 traffic fines were issued, amounting to R10 100, emphasising the law enforcement agency's commitment to upholding road safety and enforcing traffic regulations.

DE-DEUR – A high-density operation carried out by police together with various stakeholders demonstrated commitment to eradicate crime in De Deur policing precinct.

Police spokesperson Constable Mampho Mahlomola says, “The initiative aims to reaffirm the SAPS’s dedication to addressing lawlessness and crime.”

Mahlomola highlights that the meticulously planned operation yielded remarkable results, with the apprehension of two undocumented individuals, with one hailing from Lesotho and the other from Malawi.

“Furthermore, five individuals were arrested for possession of illicit substances, underscoring the SAPS’s resolute stance against narcotics-related crimes.”
