BOPHELONG. – The Vaal community has every reason to celebrate one of its own.

Matsemela Sefatsa, from Bonanne, is making his mark in South Africa’s entertainment industry through his role in the national television soap series Isitha (The Enemy).

Appearing as a ‘Tsotsi Police’ character, Sefatsa showcases his talent on a platform watched by many South Africans every weekday. His dedication and passion continue to inspire many young people who dream of pursuing careers in acting and television.

“I am not representing myself.”

Matsemela’s success proves that talent from Bonanne and the wider Bophelong community can reach national audiences. Speaking about his journey, he expressed that he is not only representing himself. 

“I am also putting our community on the map and giving hope to the next generation,” he said.
