Bafana Bafana faces ‘The Pharaohs’ in an international friendly
Mosimane is determined to win and maintain his unbeaten record since taking over from Hugo Broos.
SEDIBENG.- Bafana Bafana face Egypt in an international friendly match at the Cairo International Stadium on Sunday, with kick-off at 20:00.
South Africa stayed in Egypt following their African Cup of Nations qualifier against Eritrea on September 30. Bafana Bafana won this encounter 5-0 through goals from Relebohile Mofokeng, Yaya Sithole, Iqgraam Ryners, and Luther Singh.
This victory gave manager Pitso Mosimane a brilliant start, winning both qualifiers and putting Bafana Bafana at the top of their group with six points from two games.
Earlier, on September 26, South Africa beat Guinea 2-1 at the Orlando Amstel Arena before travelling to face Eritrea.

South Africa and Egypt share a rich football history, regularly producing thrilling encounters in both friendlies and official matches. Tomorrow night is expected to be no exception, with local fans likely to pack the venue to capacity in front of their passionate supporters.
However, the Cairo International Stadium is renowned for its intimidating atmosphere when Egypt plays at home, providing a real test of character for Mosimane and his squad.
Mosimane is expected to field players who did not feature in the recent matches against Guinea and Eritrea, using the friendly to run the rule over other squad members.
Themba Zwane, whom Mosimane praised heavily after selection, could feature and might even captain the side tonight.
Even with these changes, Mosimane is determined to win and maintain his unbeaten record since taking over from Hugo Broos, making this a must-watch fixture given the footballing history between the two nations.
