SEDIBENG. – Ben 10 Football Club will play their ABC Motsepe League home matches at President Park in Vereeniging following a venue change.

Initially, the club announced they would use Shakespeare Stadium, with George Thabe Stadium as an alternative venue. However, Chairman Junior Gusha told Sedibeng Ster Sport that logistical reasons prompted the shift to President Park.

The club will share the venue with SAFA Sedibeng Hollywoodbets Men’s Regional League teams and Super League teams.

According to ABC Motsepe League rules, the pitch must be clear an hour before kick-off.

I just want to put the record straight.

Meanwhile, Gusha has spoken out to clarify ownership of the club following recent strange activities and confusion. He confirmed with Sedibeng Ster Sport that he and his wife are the majority shareholders, and that the club is registered under their company, Gushdee (Pty).

“I just want to put the record straight because there is confusion about who the majority owner(s) of the club are.  There is a signed contract from 2023 that clearly establishes the majority shareholders,” Gusha said.

Sedibeng Ster Sport has the agreement documents believed to be signed by both parties involved.

Addressing recent developments, Gusha warned individuals going around to seek sponsorships using the club’s name to stop immediately or face legal action.

“If people want to know who owns what here at Ben 10 FC, they are welcome to come and I will show them all the relevant documents. It is just, unfortunately, I had to share this with the media because there has been a lot that is happening at the club recently,” said Gusha.
