Easter Mardi Gras in Scottburgh this Saturday

The event kicks off at 10:00.

Scottburgh’s highly anticipated Easter Market Mardi Gras will be held this Saturday, March 30 on Marine Terrace (the road leading towards Scottburgh beach).

Motorists take note: The market will start at 10:00 and run until about 18:00 from the corner of Arbuthnot and Marine Terrace, past Enzo’s Pizza restaurant, to the corner of Cordiner and Marine Terrace.

The public is reminded to bring along camp chairs to relax in designated shaded areas. People can also enjoy live music, which will be covering golden oldies, or hop along to LP Cafe and the new car wash hangout and listen to a DJ play.

There will be over 150 stalls to buy from which will have food, crafts and just about anything else you can think of.

If you are a bike lover, you’ll be glad to know of the biker’s breakfast run. Scottburgh is expecting to accommodate bikers who have travelled from around KZN, and their arrival will be at about 10:00 and departure at 13:00.

The organisers also remind the public about blood pressure testing opportunities and stem cell donor registrations.

Scottburgh’s December Mardi Gras was a huge success and attracted hundreds of people to the area. Locals are hopeful the upcoming market is just as good!
