Bush clearing helps reduce crime

Margate Saps, Ray Nkonyeni Municipality Law Enforcement and local security companies as well as community members continued last Thursda. with clearing bushes in an attempt to reduce crime.

Bushes were cleared and illegal living structures removed at the start of Panorama Parade and along Ramsgate beach.

Police spokesman, Sgt Sibu Ncane said community members applauded the initiative and Margate Saps will continue with similar programmes as the festive season approaches.
