Police seek information on Palmview house robbers
Be aware of suspicious vehicles, persons loitering and any other activities in your neighbourhoods.
The public is warned to be alert after a home was burgled in Mynah Place, Palmview on March 22. A grey Hyundai with ZN number plates arrived at the property and two men forced the security gate open.
A case of burglary has been opened for investigation at Port Shepstone Saps. According to Saps Ugu District Communications, the thieves forced the house door open and stole various valuables.
Police are searching for the grey Hyundai. Anyone with any information can call 039 6881000.

Safety tips:
* Ensure that all doors are locked at all times, and that windows are closed when you are not at home.
* Large dogs serve as a deterrent. At least one dog should be trained to sleep inside the house.
* If you leave your residence, inform your family/neighbour of your intended destination, time you expect to return and the route you will be driving, especially if you reside in a rural area.
* Ensure that tools such as axes, spades, picks, ladders, etc. that can be used in an attack are locked when not in use.
