South Coast murder suspect shot dead in Pinetown

The man was wanted for multiple murder cases.

Police have confirmed that a man wanted for numerous cases of murder on the South Coast was shot dead today (April 1).

“Police received intelligence regarding the place where the man they were looking for was hiding and proceeded to the said place,” said Colonel Robert Netshiunda, KZN Saps.

“A shootout broke out between the suspect and police on Lea Road in Manors Pinetown, during which the suspect was fatally wounded.”

Pistols and rifles were also found at the scene.
