Man jailed for Umkomaas business robbery

The accused, Siyabonwa Khuzwayo was found in possession of stolen goods.

Siyabonwa Khuzwayo was recently found guilty and sentenced to three years’ imprisonment for business robbery and possession of suspected stolen property.

According to police, on May 24 around 17:00, a business robbery in Umkomaas was reported. Items to the value of R7600 were stolen.

Khuzwayo was later arrested and found in possession of suspected stolen property.

Thereafter, investigating officer Detective Sergeant Ryan Arumugam was able to link Khuzwayo to the incident.
