Umbango Temple to host Mariamman prayer

It is often held in homes or temples during the auspicious month of Aadi Masam.

Umbango Sri Siva Soobramoniar Temple invites all to its annual Mariamman prayer from July 17 to July 19.

The prayer is a traditional thanksgiving and healing ritual dedicated to Mariamman, the Hindu goddess of rain, health, and fertility.

The prayer is an act of humility and gratitude, often held in homes or temples during the auspicious month of Aadi Masam.

A flag hoisting and hawan will be held on Friday, July 17 at 18:00. This will be followed by a hawan/Gangai Amman prayer on Saturday, July 18 at 13:30; and a hawan, Garagum prayer, Mariamman prayer and flag de-hoisting on Sunday, July 19, from 08:00.
