Spring walk in Oribi
Wors rolls and coffee will be on sale and there will be a lucky draw.
The Umzimkhulu and Oribi Honorary officers are hosting a spring day flower fundraiser walk at the Hutted Camp Oribi, KZN Ezemvelo.
Get your walking shoes out, bring your family and friends and escape into nature on Saturday, October 7. Registration is at 09:00. Walk starts at 10:00.
There will be two walks, one is around the grasslands at the Hutted Camp about 50m. The one to Samango Falls is just under 1km, bit steep now and then, takes half an hour.
From the Hutted Camp after registration everyone will be taken down to the picnic spot at the river to walk from there, or they can take their own car down.
There also will be tables with examples of bird nests, skulls, snares, shells and alien invasive plants at the Hutted Camp for everyone to have a look at.
Wors rolls and coffee will be on sale and there will be a lucky draw at midday.
