Get your game face on, Toti police

CCPO delivered a great response in under five minutes

EDITOR – On Saturday evening my wife and I were disturbed by two shouting, swearing and drunk vagrants at about 10pm.

We put up with their nonsense for a while and decided to get them to stop.

My wife suggested we phone the CCPO, but I decided to contact our local SAP to see what would happen.

After getting through, I introduced myself and asked whom I was speaking to. He never identified himself, and only eventually identified himself as ‘constaboool’ and that was that. After describing the nature of the public disturbance, as well as the address and a physical description, he ceased with the conversation, mumbled something incoherent, which was inaudible and I ended the call.

We waited on our balcony in anticipation of the intervention for another 10 minutes and voila, the van arrived – but it drove straight past. To which my wife responded: ‘You see’.

At 3.30am this lot woke up again, and it was only then that I contacted the and the problem ceased to exist.

We continue to support the CCPO for this reason and have a lot of concern about our safety in this town with regards to the local SAP. However, I must say there are still a few good members within the ranks of Toti SAP, but unfortunately the rest are only onions. Get your game face on, chaps.
