Artists to dabble with orchid still life

The subject will be still life and if you have two articles that you would like to include in your still life that would be acceptable.

THE Upper South Coast Art Association’s monthly meeting takes place in the activities hall of Amanzimtoti library on Saturday, 19 October.

The meeting begins at 1.30pm until about 4pm.

The demonstration will be given by Bev Letard, who will show artists how to paint orchids. Bev is a well known artist and has a good reputation for being an expert in her field. Guests are invited to attend.

There is a small fee for refreshments. The meeting is preceded by a morning session of drawing to which the public is invited. There is no charge for this session.

The class begins at 9am. and ends at about noon. All are asked to take along pencils, rubbers and paper. The subject will be still life and it is advisable to have two articles that you would like to include in your still life.

The association looks forward to seeing everyone there for a morning of expert tuition and fun.
