U13 cricketers bag another convincing win

After week two the Amanzimtoti Cricket Club under 13 side is still unbeaten

AFTER week two, the Amanzimtoti Cricket Club U13 side is still unbeaten after another convincing win over Umgababa on Sunday.

ACC batted first and scored a massive 345 for two in 30 overs. In return Umgababa managed only 29 runs.

The first team had less success this weekend, as they lost by 50 runs to a very strong UKZN team. The rain played havoc during the game, which impacted on the playing conditions for ACC, as they batted second.

Jarrod Michaux was impressive with the bat and managed 42 runs. He was also the pick of the bowlers with figures of six for 31 in eight overs.

The second team on the other hand was successful in beating UKZN by 35 runs in a rain-affected match. For ACC, Jarrod Lombard bowled outstandingly to claim three for five in 1.3 overs.

The U11A side had a narrow loss against Delta A in very difficult conditions.
