Truck-trailer overturns on N2
A driver and his two passengers were uninjured when a Toyota Hino they were travelling in overturned near Kingsway off-ramp in Toti on Thursday, 17 October.
The vehicle carrying couches was travelling on the N2 south bound lane heading towards Shelley Beach. According to Metro Police officers who were on the scene, the trailer which was being towed by the truck was swaying uncontrollably.
The driver applied breaks to slow down, but the truck was being pulled to the right. In an evasive manoeuvre, he turned left onto the off-ramp and went through the centre island, and rolled to a stop on a grass-patch.
