Bear buddies aim for festive party for children in need

EXTREME Bear Buddies aims to put a smile on children's faces this Christmas.

“We are a group of people who believe that if we work together, we can make a difference. We are helping Operation Bobbi Bear by arranging a Christmas party for 300 children. We need to raise R30,000 to be able to each child a gift pack,” said organiser, Shane Botes.

The public is urged to sponsor R100 per child. Each R100 buys a Bear Buddies Christmas gift pack consisting of a shirt, a toy, toothbrush, toothpaste, facecloth, bar of soap, pencil bag, pencils, colouring pencils, crayons, ruler, eraser, sharpener and a pair of scissors.

Deposits can be made to the Bobbi Bear Fund, First National Bank Amanzimtoti, account number 620-1861-9471, branch code 220127, Swift Code: FIRNZAJJ. The reference is EBB CHRISTMAS GP
