The school staff and Netcare 911’s Chris Botha had accounted for all the passengers before fire department and rescue services officials used specialised equipment to right the bus.

The road was closed for some time and traffic was affected.

According to Netcare 911’s spokesman, Athlenda Mathe, this was the second bus to overturn while ferrying school children in KwaZulu-Natal yesterday.
