Stolen property was recovered by the Community Crime Prevention Organisation (CCPO) on Thursday, 22 September after a break-in near Queens Terrace a fortnight ago.
Two gaming consoles were stolen during the break-in.
After CCPO committee member, George Snodey made enquiries among informers, he soon had the names of those responsible for the break-in, as well as information as to where the men had attempted to sell the stolen goods on the same day.
After interviewing a few people and getting a positive lead, Snodey and CCPO’s Michael Mkhize managed to get hold of one suspect in Felikisi on Thursday evening.
“He admitted to having one of the consoles on him and attempting to sell it in Doonside,” said Snodey.
“He claimed, however to have been trying to sell it for an accomplice who is known to the CCPO and is currently being sought.”
The man was taken to Toti SAPS for further questioning and was handed over to Toti detectives.
