What’s on this weekend: Ballito Pro 

Make your way to Salt Rock main beach for the free concerts and catch the surfing action.

Once again this year an all-star free concert will take over the Salt Rock Beach Stage on on Friday, 7 July featuring a cross-section of South African musical genres including urban, rap, electronic, pop, indie and folk.

Concerts start at 4pm and end around 11pm.

The Cadbury 5Star Ballito Pro FREE Music Concerts powered by 5FM Line-Up is a free music concert, and is child friendly.

Tonight’s ‘band night’ headline is as follows:

Friday
4:30pm – Matt Gardiner
5:15pm – The Kickstands
6pm – December Streets
7pm – Matthew Mole
8pm – Desmond & The Tutu’s
9pm – Nick Hamman
10pm – Kyle Cassim
11pm- Concert ends

If the music concert vibe isn’t your thing, make a day of travelling to watch the Ballito Pro surfing contest, as the final heats will be surfed over Saturday and Sunday and the winners will be crowned. A market with food, clothing and all other entertainment including BMX and skateboarding contests will be sure to keep you and the whole family or crew of friends entertained.
