A motorist warns the public to be aware of a rock-throwing incident on the N2 southbound in the vicinity of Arbour Crossing which occurred on Monday night, 28 May.
Cameron Claassens said the fist-sized rock hit his windscreen at about 7pm close to where the speed camera is situated.
“I’m not sure if it came from the Oppenheimer Road bridge or from the side of the road,” said Cameron. “It smashed my windscreen in the bottom left-hand corner but fortunately I was okay. I kept on driving and stopped at Galleria.
When I went to open a case, the police said there was another incident in the same area shortly after mine.”
