Despite the Rugby World Cup and the excessive heat, Amanzimtoti Tennis Club managed to fill three courts for social tennis on Saturday afternoon, 2 November.
Only a few days left before the wine tasting festival and auction gets under way on Friday, 8 November, at 6pm. The evening will consist of wine tasting and wine education presented by representatives from eight wine estates. An auction of various items will take place during the course of the evening. Snacks will also be available. A big amount of support is anticipated for this fund raiser evening. Any assistance with preparation for this event will be appreciated, even if you are not attending. Contact any of the committee members in this regard.
There is a poster on the club’s notice board in the clubhouse with information regarding a tournament at Brighton Tennis Club on Sunday, 1 December. Interested players are to note entry details. Diarise Saturday, 7 December, for the year end/ Christmas function. Details will follow soon.
Development clinic continues on Saturday mornings from 8.30am. The coach, Loraine Osborne and her assistants are on hand to show the youngsters how the game is played.
