Unisa donates books to school in Felekisi
The books were donated to grow the library reserves and encourage reading.

THE University of South Africa – KwaZulu-Natal Region (Unisa) visited Mbambangwe High School in Felekisi near Doonside on November 1 to deliver a donation of books.
In a statement, Unisa said its delegation also used the opportunity to encourage and wish the learners well who have started their matric examinations.

“The delegation was led by Unisa’s deputy director, Xolani Dubazane, and was warmly welcomed by the principal, Sibongiseni Xulu. The books were collected by Unisa’s library, the counselling unit and the institution’s communications department,” it read.
Monica Mkhwanazi, who is a Unisa student and was part of the delegation, initiated the project of donating books to schools to beef up their library stocks.
Unisa also recently participated in a career expo for the region’s high schools which was hosted by Transnet. The expo aimed to provide high school learners with insight into the diverse range of educational and career opportunities available to them.
