Animal lovers and bike enthusiasts united at Toti Square for a day of puppy cuddles, a buzzing atmosphere, and one shared mission: helping animals in need.

Karen Janisch, a director at Blue Bundu Brigade, said they let attendees cuddle and kiss puppies to show them love on that day.

The organisation faces a hefty R80 000 vet bill, making fundraisers like the Bike for Paws day essential to continue their operations. Fortunately, their vet has offered to write off half their debt if they can raise R40 000, leaving them with a target of R32 000 to hit by November 30.

To support their ongoing work, Blue Bundu Brigade has sold various items to raise funds.
