Stay safe this Easter: Water safety tips for the holidays
Ahead of the long Easter weekend, here are some water safety tips to ensure your holiday is accident-free and full of family fun.
WITH Easter only days away and the weekend calling the names of beachgoers, holiday makers and families, Lifesaving South Africa urges everyone to make water safety a top priority to ensure a joyful and accident-free holiday.
Between 1400 to 1500 people drown in South Africa yearly. Drownings can happen in seconds and often go unnoticed, even in places that seem safe like your backyard pool or a familiar rock pool.
