Team effort leads to Umbumbulu stolen car recovery
Following a short but decisive tracking operation, ground teams located the hijacked vehicle in Ngonyameni.
A COMPANY-OWNED Toyota Hilux bakkie that had been hijacked in Umbumbulu was recovered in Ngonyameni, west of Umlazi, through the intervention of ET Rapid Response, metro police, and a tracking company.

On the morning of September 17, tactical response teams were activated, and following a short but decisive tracking operation, ground teams located the vehicle in Ngonyameni.
Continuous communication between the tracking company’s control room and the ET Rapid Response’s recovery teams on the ground ensured that the vehicle was tracked, located and successfully recovered.
The vehicle was booked into the Bhekithemba police station in Umlazi for further investigation.
