Enforcement operation sweeps through Isipingo
Eight warrants were issued for illegal dumping, as well as business compliance, by metro police.
METRO police recently held a hawker and clean-up operation in Isipingo, Isipingo Beach and other southern areas, targeting by-law enforcement in public areas.

Metro police spokesperson Colonel Boysie Zungu said eight warrants were issued for illegal dumping and business compliance. Illegal structures were demolished in Isipingo Beach.
He said the operations formed part of ongoing efforts to promote public health, environmental cleanliness, and compliance with municipal regulations within communities.
“These operations will continue throughout the City,” said Zungu.
Residents and businesses are urged to maintain clean and hygienic surroundings, ensure goods sold are fit for consumption, and refrain from erecting illegal structures on public spaces, said metro police.
