Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare appeals for donations

The non-profit organisation is in need of unwanted household items to sell in their charity shop.

THE Kingsburgh Child and Family Welfare (KCFW) is in need of donations of unwanted goods, as their charity shop has an almost empty stock room.

The NPO appeals for donations of unwanted goods, whether from spring cleaning, moving house or deceased estate. One bag or a bakkie load, they appreciate it all.

Their most sought-after items include:

  • Bric-a-brac
  • Gently worn clothes
  • Furniture
  • Electronics
  • Unwanted gifts
  • Jewellery
  • Bedding
  • Kitchenware
  • Vintage items
  • Books.

“Please help us, to help the local community. We will also collect from you if you’re local,” said social worker, Sandra Govender.

As a charity organisation, they rely on the support of friends and the community to enable them to assist those in need.

Donations of non-perishable food or household items can be dropped off at their charity shop at 2 Hall Road in Warner Beach weekdays (except Wednesdays) between 08:00 and 12:00.
