#DeJagerMurderCase: Bail application postponed

Werner De Jager will remain in custody until his next court appearance.

THE case has been postponed to January 9, 2024, for bail application.

The state prosecutor asked the court for a postponement to enable the finalisation of some details, including the confirmation of the accused’s fixed residential address and a report on his mental state.

Werner de Jager’s attorney, André May, did not oppose the state’s motion as the defence felt it will give more time to finalise the investigation.
