Love Toti calls for positive change in communities

Love Toti is a non-profit organisation that focuses on uplifting and bringing about positive change in the community through various projects.

THE Amanzimtoti Women’s Institute (AWI) welcomed a presentation by members of Love Toti, who inspired attendees to contribute towards uplifting and transforming their community.

General coordinator Kathy Sinclair and member Alida Venter of Love Cities’ Toti branch, said the aim is to catalyse a movement of ordinary people, united behind a common vision and inspired by a strong belief in the good of humanity, to come together to restore communities and bring lasting social transformation.

“We have a huge desire and passion to launch various community upliftment initiatives, including projects in schools and the media, aiming to change the narrative in Amanzimtoti from negative to positive. As a non-profit organisation, we would also love to make a difference by joining hands,” said Sinclair.

President of AWI Belinda Thöle said that the women look forward to being able to play a role in the upliftment of their community.

In addition to the presentation, AWI’s competitions were well-supported, with entries being of a high standard and admired by all.

The next meeting is on November 12, where members will bring their virtual passports and ‘travel’ during the institute’s international month.
