The exhibition, which featured exquisite paintings by talented local artists, was hosted in the space outside Checkers and Capitec.

Fifteen artists showcased their work, each contributing between five and eight paintings. The club boasts around 30 members, all passionate about sharing their art with the community.

“Hosting exhibitions like these not only helps worthy causes but also brings the community into the vibrant world of local art,” said Patricia McCann, chairperson of Totally Art Club.

In addition to the artwork on display, visitors had the chance to enter a lucky draw. The prize is a custom portrait by local artist Rina Caincross, valued at between R2 500 and R2 800. The draw will take place in May.

Totally Art Club meets on the third Saturday of each month at the activities hall at Mooi Hawens in Winklespruit from 10:00. Artists of all skill levels, including beginners, are welcome.
