According to Patricia McCann, the club’s chairperson, the approach was best interpreted on stained glass templates.
Sharon Zulch entered the club’s monthly challenge with an inspired landscape piece based on her recent visit to the idyllic Drakensberg Gardens. She said, “There’s something magical about the way light transforms a landscape after a storm. I was captivated by the way the sun broke through the clouds, casting a golden glow over the mountains. The contrast between the lingering mist and the illuminated peaks created a scene. I loved how the mist nestled between the mountains and the golf course, softening the rugged landscape, adding mystery. This is my first attempt at a landscape. Thanks to Totally Art for stretching my limits and taking me out my comfort zone.”
