The pair is from Reflect Performing Arts Studio. Eight-year-old Zhayli de Vaal and Christelani Rossouw have each built remarkable portfolios in modelling and the performing arts, and will now perform among some of the province’s finest young talent.
Reflect studio director, Rialda de Vaal, expressed her pride in Zhayli and Christelani.
“They work hard, they show up with enthusiasm, and they love what they do. It’s inspiring to see young talent from Amanzimtoti step into big opportunities and this is only the beginning,” said De Vaal.
De Vaal added that Zhayli has been with the studio since the age of four, and her progress has been extraordinary. Last year, at the age of seven, she received her South African colours for modelling and performing arts, excelling in dramatised poetry, singing and stage performance.

Remarkably, she was also chosen to appear at New York Fashion Week 2026, where she will represent SA internationally and will also be featured in a full-page spread in the upcoming SA Models Showcase magazine.
Christelani began modelling at the age of seven and over the years has amassed over 40 titles, establishing herself as one of the standout talents in her field.

“She is known for her elegant stage presence, discipline, and confident performances. Christelani will also be celebrated in a full-page feature in the SA Models Showcase magazine, highlighting her journey, achievements, and dedication to the modelling and performing arts industry,” said De Vaal.
