The bridge serves as one of Amanzimtoti’s many colourful attractions with its blue bright paint and Ubuntu-themed mural designs strewn along its entire length.

Romy Wenzel of SCT thanked Vusi Michael Zondi and Sphiwe Shozi for bringing the space to life by cleaning and repainting it.

“Let us respect and protect these efforts. No posters, no graffiti, so that we can proudly welcome visitors from far and wide,” said Wenzel.

Wenzel identified that the surrounding area of the bridge is in need of trimming and cutting due to overgrowth. Should you wish to volunteer or assist with SCT’s work, contact 083 733 6468 or email info@sapphirecoasttourism.co.za.
