Human bones found dumped in Ezimbokodweni

It is not known where the bones came from, but a cemetery is located not far from where the bones were found.

THE community of Ezimbokodweni near KwaMakhutha made a grim discovery on the morning of June 9, when human bones of at least two individuals were discovered at a makeshift dumping site next to the main road.

At the time of publication, the police spokesperson had not officially confirmed the discovery, but an officer from the KwaMakhutha police station who is not authorised to speak to the media said officers had responded to the scene.

It is not known where the bones came from, but a cemetery is located not far from where the bones were found. The officer said remnants of a coffin, clothing, and blankets were found alongside the bones.

After the police responded, the scene was processed, and the bones were taken away for further investigation.
