The growing popularity of TCA’s car boot market

Steadily becoming one of Amanzimtoti's favourite monthly outings, Toti Community Assist's car boot market has grown tremendously.

TOTI Community Assist’s (TCA) monthly car boot market is steadily becoming a staple of the community, with its market at RE/MAX Toti on July 11 attracting over 40 vendors and countless visitors.

The car boot markets have been running since February, humbly beginning with only 13 vendors and a mindset towards growth.

Dalene Heath of TCA thanked RE/MAX for granting the NPO the opportunity to host the markets.

“The market is growing and we are starting to see new faces and new vendors, which we are very grateful for. All our proceeds from stall bookings go towards fundraising for TCA, to be used for first aid supplies and community assistance. Our area does not have any other regular markets, so this offers them an opportunity to sell locally as opposed to travelling to markets that are held far away,” said Heath.

Stall booking costs R100. TCA’s next market will be on August 1, from 09:00 until 14:00. For more information, contact 078 215 4797.
