MEC Martin Meyer visits Amanzimtoti’s special needs school [Video]

Public Works MEC, Martin Meyer, adopted the Durban School for the Hearing Impaired in 2025, promising to help it get back on its feet.

MEMBER of the KZN Legislature and MEC for Public Works, Martin Meyer, visited Amanzimtoti’s Durban School for the Hearing Impaired on January 15, on its first day of the academic year.

Meyer, a resident of Amanzimtoti, adopted the school in 2025, promising to help it get back on its feet as it struggles with crumbling infrastructure. He came bearing gifts for the learners, as well as words of encouragement.
